Job summary

Priory North Yorkshire is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our team on a part-time basis, 30 hours per week, £13.75 per hour. The role supports adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions in a tailored, 1:1 or 2:1 setting across North Yorkshire.

You will contribute to personalised care plans, assist with daily activities, promote wellbeing and independence, while upholding safety, confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in care or support work is desirable; training provided.
  • Ability to follow individual care plans and document progress.
  • Reliable team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with assessment and implementation of individual care plans.
  • Support residents with daily activities to promote wellbeing and dignity.

Part Time – 30 Hours

Supported Living North Yorkshire has an opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team. This role is offered on a part time basis working 30 hours per week.

Supported Living North Yorkshire delivers tailored outreach support across North Yorkshire and the East Riding. We work with adults diagnosed with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions, often with complex needs.

Our 24/7 specialist supported living services are designed to promote independence while providing the right level of support, including 1:1 and 2:1 staffing where required. We empower individuals to build essential life skills and live as independently as possible.

What you’ll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents

  • Through own professional behaviour, including adhering to policies and procedures, contributes to the maintenance of safety, security and confidentiality standards.
  • To undertake key working responsibility for individual service users, supporting the individual to plan goals and personal outcomes and ensure that these are comprehensively documented and reviewed. Innovation
