Job summary

Keys Group is recruiting a Support Worker for Parc Lodge in Bridgend, South Wales. You will be involved in day-to-day support and routine of residents, encouraging independence and helping with personal care, health appointments and daily tasks.

Full UK driving licence is required; we provide full training, DBS check paid, annual leave, pension, and career development through QCF qualifications. We value equality and offer discounts via Circle.

• No previous care experience required; full training provided.

• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
• Providing guidance & encouragement through physical and emotional support.

About Parc Lodge

Parc Lodge is a specialist residential service in Bridgend, South Wales supporting up to 10 adults with a range of mental health needs.

The service also supports individuals with secondary diagnoses such as learning disabilities, autism and physical health needs, alongside those with forensic histories, with a clear focus on rehabilitation and progression towards more independent living.

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.

Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development
