Job summary

HRM Homecare Services is seeking compassionate Support Workers to join our team in North Lanarkshire. You will provide essential care to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Full training will be provided; PVG check required. Roles available part-time or full-time with shift patterns including weekends and evenings. Benefit options include mileage and early access to pay.

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and medication support
• Support clients to engage in meaningful activities and community involvement
• Maintain accurate records and report any changes in clients' needs or well-being
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure coordinated care delivery
• Promote a safe and comfortable environment for clients

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in a support or care role is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards clients
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible approach to working hours, including availability for some weekends and evenings
• Willingness to undertake training and development
• Disclosure Scotland (PVG) Check will be required

Desirable

• Qualification in health and social care is advantageous
• Knowledge of care standards and legislation
