Job summary

HRM Homecare Services in Glasgow North East is seeking compassionate Support Workers to provide essential home care, promoting independence and quality of life for clients in their own homes. Roles are based in communities around the East Kilbride area.

Responsibilities include personal care, daily living support, and coordinating with healthcare professionals. Training is provided; PVG checks are required. Hourly rate: £13.45. Flexible shifts, including some weekends and evenings, are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a support or care role is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards clients.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including availability for some weekends and evenings.
• Willingness to undertake training and development.
• Disclosure Scotland (PVG) Check will be required.
• Desirable: Qualification in health and social care is advantageous.
• Knowledge of care standards and legislation.
