Job summary

Affinity Trust is seeking an experienced Support Worker to assist a gentleman in his own home in March. You will provide person‑centred care, listening, and empower his choices while supporting mental health needs.

We value hands‑on training and supportive colleagues. Requirements include a full UK driving licence, experience in health and social care, and NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care; Sunday 15‑hour shifts with flexibility offered.

• Proven experience within health and social care is essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care required (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence required.

We're looking for an experienced support worker to support a gentleman in his own home in March. You will have proven experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs and confidently managing challenging behaviours and difficult situations. Our gentleman enjoys outings to Costa for coffee and spending time building Lego, so a patient, understanding, and personable approach is essential.
