Job summary

Shaw healthcare is seeking a Night Support Worker for Glebe House in Southbourne. The role offers 33 hours nights or 36 hours days per week at £13.80 per hour, with 12-hour shifts and a rotating weekend schedule. No prior experience is required; full training and ongoing development are provided.

You will deliver compassionate, person-centred care, support with daily living activities, and maintain detailed records while promoting dignity and a safe, supportive environment.

Night Support Worker at Glebe House

Salary: £13.80 per hour

Hours: 33hrs nights or 36hrs days per week available

Shift Times: Flexible on 4 week Rota, 12hr shifts either days 07:45-20:15 or nights 20:00-08:00 - requirement to work alternative weekends

Job Responsibilities

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. The will include, but not limited to:

• Providing person-centred care in line with an individual’s care plan
• Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents
• Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion
• Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties
• Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment
