Job summary

Shaw healthcare (Group) Ltd in Crawley, West Sussex, is seeking a Night Support Worker for Deerswood Lodge. You will provide person-centred care on a 12-hour night rota, with shifts from 20:00 to 08:00 and some weekend work.

Night Support Worker at Deerswood Lodge

Salary: £13.80 per hour

Hours: 36hrs per week

Shift Times: Flexible on 4 week Rota working 12hr night shifts 20:00-08:00 (requirement to work alternative weekends)

Shaw healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Support Worker who is ready to make a positive impact at Deerswood Lodge, a care home in Crawley, West Sussex, offering 90 residential places. The facility specialises in dementia, residential, and respite care, providing a safe and supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. The will include, but not limited to:

• Providing person-centred care in line with an individual’s care plan
• Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents
• Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion
• Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties
• Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment
