Job summary

Shaw healthcare at Plas Cae Crwn Care Home in Newtown is seeking a compassionate Night Support Worker to help provide 24-hour care to elderly residents, including residential, respite, and dementia care. This role involves person-centred care, assisting with personal tasks, and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment.

The position offers a 24-hour contract with night shifts on a four-week rota. No experience is required; full training and ongoing development are provided, along with benefits

Location: Plas Cae Crwn Care Home - Shaw healthcare, Park St, Newtown SY16 1EW
Salary: £13.67 per hour
Hours: 24 hour contract
Shift Times: 4 Week Rota - Week 1/3: Monday and Friday 20:00-08:00, Week 2/4: Saturday and Sunday 20:00-08:00

Plas Cae Crwn provides 24-hour care and support to elderly residents with various needs, including residential, respite, and dementia care. The home offers spacious bedrooms with en-suite facilities, all decorated to a high standard and equipped with the latest assistive technology to enhance residents' safety and wellbeing. There are several communal areas, including a comfortable lounge, dining room, and quiet spaces for relaxation and socialisation. The outdoor area features beautifully landscaped gardens with seating areas, where residents can enjoy the fresh air and scenic views.

Job Responsibilities

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. The will include, but not limited to:
