Support Worker and Relief Support Worker

Being a support worker is a role where you can make every day matter. It's a job with challenges that make your heart beat faster, where you can give something of yourself and empower amazing people on their journey. We are Key and Community Lifestyles, two organisations that support disabled people of all ages to make everyday matter. Our teams know that good support is essential for a good life, and so we work alongside every person we support and their family to help them live life to the full. We are recruiting now in Inverness.

Working locally, you will join one of our teams delivering great quality individualised support to adults who have a variety of support needs. You will empower individuals to live as independently as possible, promoting choice, dignity, and well-being. Every day is different in this challenging but rewarding role. If you're caring, reliable, flexible, and passionate about supporting others to achieve the life they desire, then you could be who we are looking for.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support individuals in living as independently as possible.
2. Promote choice, dignity, and well-being.
3. Work flexibly as part of the team to meet the needs of the people who use our service, including evenings, weekends, sleepovers, and waking nights.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Commitment to a person-centred approach.
2. Experience of working with people with learning disabilities is desirable.
