CS UK Recruitment Ltd is seeking a committed Support Worker for a residential children’s care home in Southampton, Hampshire. You will provide person-centred support and help with daily living tasks, ensuring dignity and safety for residents.

The role requires patience, excellent communication, and the ability to build trusting relationships with individuals and their families. NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable, with 36–48 hours per week across days and nights.

Competenze

• NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable.
• Experience working in a similar role and setting is preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide 3:1 or 4:1 person-centred support within the home.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, medication and daily living needs while maintaining dignity and privacy.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, encouraging independence and individual choice.
• Support with behaviours that may challenge, following agreed care plans and positive behaviour support approaches.
• Monitor wellbeing, maintain accurate care records and follow safeguarding procedures to ensure safe, consistent care.
