CS UK Recruitment Ltd is advertising a Support Worker role in a Derby area children's residential home. You will provide person-centred support, assist with personal care, mobility and daily living needs, and help residents maintain independence while preserving dignity and privacy.
The role involves 36-48 hours per week, day and night shifts, with monthly pay and clear safeguarding procedures. The ideal candidate will have NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable) and experience
Qualifications
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care desirable.
- Experience in complex care or similar environment preferred.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with individuals and families.
Responsabilités
- Provide 3:1 or 4:1 person-centred support within the home.
- Assist with personal care, mobility, medication and daily living needs.
- Provide emotional support and companionship, encouraging independence.
- Support with behaviours per care plans and positive behaviour approaches.
- Monitor wellbeing, maintain accurate care records and safeguarding.
