A Support Worker role in the Leicester area for a residential children’s care home. You will support with personal care, wellbeing and daily living within a 3:1 or 4:1 model, delivering person-centred care and safeguarding.

NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable; patient, compassionate and excellent communication are essential. The position is permanent, full-time (36-48 hours per week) on days and nights, offering a salary of £27,144 to £36,192 per annum with monthly pay,

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with individuals and families.

Responsabilités

• Provide 3:1 or 4:1 person-centred support within the home.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, medication and daily living needs while maintaining dignity and privacy.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, encouraging independence and individual choice.
• Support with behaviours that may challenge following care plans and positive behaviour support approaches.
• Monitor wellbeing, maintain accurate care records and follow safeguarding procedures.
