Job summary

BCHA is hiring a Part-time Support Worker for 15 hours per week in Bournemouth. The role involves conducting one-to-one sessions with residents at homelessness accommodation, building positive and respectful relationships to support independent living. Shifts cover early and late times on a seven-day rota.

The position offers full training and a supportive team, with opportunities to learn trauma-informed approaches and develop practical skills while making a real difference in the community.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key Support Worker for a number of customers, carrying out regular one to one sessions and building trusting relationships to move towards independent living.
• Carry out early and late shifts over a 7 day rota.
• Support customers to develop recovery plans and participate in services.
