Job description

Support Worker

Search Health-care are working with a Nationally Recognised Health-care Provider to source a number of experienced Support workers for Mental health units to provide support to vulnerable service users in their daily life routine. You MUST have experience working with individuals with complex needs and mental health difficulties.

The Role:

The emphasis of this job will be working on supporting individuals with severe mental health difficulties / complex needs. You will be expected to work flexible shifts both days and nights. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months previous experience working as a support worker with experience in mental health / learning difficulties. We are particularly interested to hear from candidates who have previously completed MAPA/PMVA training. You will also be expected to work regular weekend shifts.

2. Commitment to ensure that people with disabilities are valued and enabled to take control of their own lives.
3. You are looking to build a fulfilling and rewarding career in social care, truly making a difference to the lives of those who you support.
4. You have at least 1 YEAR experience in the mental health sector and are able to provide 3 years of employment referencing.
5. Have MAPA or PMVA training.
