Job summary

SeeMeHired in the United Kingdom is seeking caring Support Workers to join a friendly, supportive team. You will assist adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, following individual plans and contributing to daily living tasks and community activities.

No prior experience is required; our training and guidance help you develop essential skills while you grow in a meaningful role. Shifts include days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Support adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex support needs.
  • Providing person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs, preferences and goals.
  • Promoting independence, dignity, choice and personal wellbeing.
  • Supporting individuals with daily living tasks and personal care, where required.
  • Encouraging and supporting people to access their local community and take part in activities they enjoy.
  • Supporting individuals to develop life skills, confidence and independence.
  • Following individual support plans, risk assessments and agreed approaches.
  • Responding calmly, positively and safely when individuals may display behaviours of distress.
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with the people we support.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a supportive and dedicated team, Supporting individuals with their personal care and daily routines.
  • Assisting with everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and household activities.
  • Supporting individuals to take their medication safely and attend health appointments.
  • Encouraging meaningful activities, hobbies, social opportunities, and community involvement.
  • Providing reassurance, emotional support, and positive companionship.
  • Promoting independence, dignity, choice, and control.
  • Following individual support plans and agreed ways of working.
  • Supporting people to develop their skills and achieve their personal goals.

    We are unable to provide work visa sponsorship at this time. Applicants must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK.

A full UK driving licence is desirable due to the nature of the role and the needs of the people we support., We are looking for kind, reliable and motivated Support Workers to join our friendly and supportive team., You don't need previous experience in a support role. What matters most is your attitude, values and willingness to learn. We're looking for people who are:

  • Day Shift: 07:30 - 21:30
