Job summary

Dimensions is seeking a caring Support Worker in Worcester (WR4) to help five adults aged 18–65 with learning disabilities, autism, and mobility needs. The role involves personal care, daily living support and assisting with community activities in a lively home environment.

You'll join a close-knit team, with training provided and opportunities for progression. Sleep-in shifts are paid at £50 each. Flexible patterns accommodate both full-time and part-time hours.

Pay: £13.15per hour + £50 per sleep-in shift

About the role

We're looking for enthusiastic and caring Support Workers to join our team in Worcester (WR4), supporting five people aged 18–65 (three gentlemen and two ladies) with learning disabilities, autism and mobility needs.

This is a lively and sociable home where the people we support enjoy making the most of life and building strong relationships with the people around them.

They enjoy:

• Music and sensory activities
• Trampolining and bowling
• Meals out and socialising
• Watching films and sharing favourite movies
• Spending time with family and friends
• Community activities and day trips

You'll play an important role in helping people live fulfilling, independent and meaningful lives while supporting them with everyday routines and activities.

Support includes:

• Personal care and daily living support
• Community activities and social outings
• Medication administration (full training provided)
• Meal preparation and household tasks
• Hoist support for one gentleman
• Mobility and wheelchair support
• Encouraging independence, confidence and choice
• Building positive relationships with the people we support and their families

Families are actively involved in people's lives, so building respectful and positive relationships is an important part of the role.

Shifts:

• 8:00am – 3:30pm
• 1:30pm – 9:00pm
• Sleep-ins: 10:00pm – 7:00am (£50 paid to sleep)

Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
