Job summary

Brook Street seeks a dedicated Support Worker in the Stroud area to support individuals with complex needs, including learning disabilities and mental health challenges. This is a one-to-one role requiring compassion and independence.

You will provide tailored 1:1 care in a domiciliary setting, support a range of needs, take part in daily activities including walks and community outings, and build strong, trusting relationships with service users.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex needs and mental health.
• Be confident working independently.
• Hold a valid driving licence (business insurance possible).
• ideally DBS on Update Service.

You must:

• Have experience managing complex needs and mental health
• Be confident working independently
• Hold a valid driving licence (business insurance preferred - support offered)
• Ideally already have a DBS on the Update Service
• Be fluent in English, as clear communication is essential
