Job summary

Potens Group seeks a dedicated Support Worker for Woodside Farmhouse in St Austell. You will provide compassionate support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge, helping them develop skills and independence.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training and development are offered, including care certificates and NVQ progression. The role includes varied shifts, some sleep-ins, and weekends.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training will be provided.
• Flexible with a can-do attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive, caring support to adults living at Woodside Farmhouse.
• Help residents learn new skills towards living more independently.
• Assist with emotional and practical needs and personal care.
• Work effectively as part of a team and contribute to person-centred care plans.
• Support residents in chosen activities and weekend shifts including sleep-ins.

At our service in St Austell, we support adults with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge.

• 30 hours per week. Shifts will include earlies, lates, sleep-ins (occasional) and weekends.

What you’ll be doing:

• Taking part in the chosen activities of the people we support.
• Shifts will include earlies, lates, sleep-ins (occasional) and weekends. Bank holiday working is also required.
