Job summary

Lemontree Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Residential Support Worker for a children's home in Newhaven, East Sussex. The role focuses on providing emotional and practical support to children who have experienced trauma, helping them build confidence and independence in a safe, nurturing environment.

You'll promote safeguarding, support education and daily activities, and work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people or vulnerable individuals is essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.
• Hold a full UK driving licence or be able to obtain one.
• Willingness to complete the Level 3 Diploma if not already qualified.

The Role

Desirable

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
• Experience in children's residential care.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, trauma-informed practice or SEMH.
