Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a Support Worker to assist a male client with a spinal cord injury in Tamworth. Successful candidates will provide personal care, manage medication, and support the client's active lifestyle including community outings.

The position offers flexible working hours, including part-time and full-time shifts. A full clean UK drivers' licence is required, and travel for getaways is fully covered.

Job description

Our client leads an active lifestyle, therefore a successful applicant will hold a full clean UK drivers' licence to support their independence.

We’re looking for a Support Worker to assist our male client with a spinal cord injury and complex health needs in his home in Tamworth.

Working Hours

Day shifts (8am‑8pm) & Waking Night shifts (8pm‑8am). Part‑time (24 hours) or Full‑time (36‑48 hours) available. Must be available to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support
• Assist with medication administration
• Handle moving and handling of the client
• Manage clinical equipment
• Support the client’s active lifestyle including community outings
• Travel to family holidays and other getaways (travel and accommodation fully covered)
