Job summary

Active Care Group in Guildford is seeking a compassionate Live-In Support Worker to assist a male client with a spinal cord injury at his home. You’ll provide person-centred support to promote independence, wellbeing and community participation, staying in the client’s home during placement.

You’ll need a full UK driving licence and be confident driving in London. The role offers £127.50 per day, fully paid travel, paid specialist training, holiday pay, Nest Personal Pension, and opportunities

At Active Care Group, we're looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Live-In Support Worker to support one of our male clients who has a spinal cord injruy in his own home. This is a unique opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with one person while enjoying an excellent work-life balance through our 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off live-in rota.

Meet the client: Our male client lives near Guildford with his wife and their dog. He lives with a spinal cord injury and low blood pressure and values having the right support to help him maintain his independence and enjoy an active lifestyle. He is a keen photographer and enjoys spending time pursuing his passion for photography. He also loves being active and particularly enjoys swimming and sailing.

Our client is looking for a friendly, reliable and confident support worker who can support him with his day-to-day needs while encouraging him to continue enjoying the activities and interests that are important to him. A full UK driving licence is required, and the successful support worker will need to be confident driving in London.

About the Role:

As a Live-In Support Worker, you'll stay in the client's home during your placement and provide person-centred support that promotes independence, wellbeing and community participation.
