Job summary

Priority Childcare, part of Orbis Education and Care, is hiring a Support Worker for Beech Tree Farm in Swansea. You will deliver person-centred care to adults with trauma or mental health needs, supporting independence and daily living with dignity and respect.

The role is full-time (39 hours) with sleep-ins; you will work on site and provide compassionate, reliable support to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives every day.

Qualifications

• Compassion and empathy to support adults with trauma and mental health needs.
• Clear and respectful communication with colleagues and clients.
• Reasonable driving licence and willingness to travel locally if required.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing environment and act as a positive role model.
• Encourage independence through daily routines and activities.
• Deliver person-centred care and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with household tasks and meal preparation as needed.
• Provide sensitive personal care with dignity and respect when required.
• Work with your team to ensure consistent, quality support.
• Support adults to build confidence and skills toward independence.

What You'll Need
