Job summary

Cygnet is seeking a Day Support Worker for Beeches, a specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities. You will work full-time, 42 hours per week on day shifts, providing compassionate care and support to residents in a calm, respectful environment.

We welcome applicants who are genuinely driven, excellent communicators, and able to empower service users to live independently. DBS check is required for successful candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience in care settings is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates empathy, patience and resilience.
• Willingness to undertake enhanced DBS disclosure.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all service users.
• Provide guidance and emotional support to residents.

You'll be working full time, 42 hours per week (day shifts only), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Beeches.

Beeches is a specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities who may also present with behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those in our care, promoting independence and community integration.

Your Day-to-Day…

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients & residents
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals' specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
