Job summary

Priority Childcare, part of Orbis Education and Care, seeks a compassionate Support Worker to help adults at our Gowerton home. You will contribute to a safe, stable, and supportive environment, promoting independence and wellbeing.

Full UK driving licence is essential; shifts include sleep-ins and weekends. We offer comprehensive training and development, with opportunities for progression and a supportive team ethos.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with physical, emotional and social needs.
• Promote independence and wellbeing through activities and daily living.
• Keep accurate records of progress, support provided, behaviours and incidents.
• Assist with daily living tasks as required (cooking, housekeeping, personal care).

What You'll Be Doing

As a Support Worker, every day is different, but always meaningful. You'll be:

• Supporting adults with their physical, emotional, and social needs in a nurturing environment.
• Being a positive role model and promoting confidence, wellbeing, and independence.
• Encouraging independent living skills through social, recreational, educational, and community-based activities.
• Working as part of a strong and supportive team to deliver person-centred care and support.
• Keeping accurate records of progress, support provided, behaviours, and incidents.
• Assisting with daily living tasks, including cooking, household duties, and personal care where required.
