Job summary

Leonard Cheshire's Oakwood care home in Stockport is looking for a Support Worker to help residents with daily living tasks, personal care, meals and medication; you’ll support independence and enable people to live life their way. This role offers occasional hours, designed to cover sickness and annual leave and weekends.

We offer occasional hours, this is to support the service with sickness and annual leave cover.

Typical shifts may include:
  • Day shifts: 8:00am - 8:00pm

Enhanced pay: £1.00 per hour will only apply to night working (8pm Monday to 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday to 7am Monday). This does not apply to Sleep-Ins.

About Leonard Cheshire

For over 75 years, we’ve been supporting disabled people to live, learn, and work as independently as possible. We provide specialist support across residential care, supported living, and respite services for people with physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, sensory impairments, and learning disabilities.
