Sense is seeking a reliable and motivated Support Worker to join our professional team at our residential service in Stevenage. This permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week with a salary of £25,350 per annum.

A full manual UK driving license is required to operate service vehicles used for outings and appointments. Experience with or qualification in British Sign Language is desirable as we communicate with individuals who use this method.

Job description

Sense arelooking for a reliable and motivated Support Workerto join our professional team at our purpose built residential service in Stevenage.

This is a Permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week. We are offering Support Workers £25,350 per annum.

OurStevenage service is rated good by CQC. At our service we support 7 individualsin all aspects of daily living activitiesaccording to their care support plans.

As a Support Worker,you will be taking part in a range of activities with the individuals as they are active and enjoy taking part in various activities. Some of these activities includebowling, bingo session, arts and crafts-paintings, baking and cooking, foot spa, out for shopping and to the pubs, going on holidays in and out of UK, going to animal farms etc.

A full manual UK license is required as we have manual company vehicles used to drive and take individuals to appointments, activities outside of the home and trips.

Experience using or a British Sign Language qualification is desirable as we do do use this method of communication with some of the people at the service.
