Job summary

Sense is recruiting a Support Worker for our Margate, Kent Supported Living service on a permanent part-time basis (30 hours per week) with a pay rate of £13.00 per hour. You will support two individuals in their own home, promoting independence through daily living tasks and participation in personal interests and activities.

No previous experience is required as full training is provided, and you will be part of a team focused on health, wellbeing, and inclusion.

Do you want to make a real difference in someone's everyday life?

Here at Sense, we support people with complex disabilities to live the life they choose. We're looking for a Support worker to join our Supported Living service in Margate, Kent on a permanent part-time basis working 30 hours per week and paying £13.00 per hour.

You'll be supporting two individuals in their own home with everyday living, helping them to live as independently as possible. The duties are varied and no two days will be the same. As a general guide, you may support with personal care needs, as well as help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing. No previous experience is needed - full training will be provided.

This role in Margate might include supporting people with:
  • Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning
  • Personal care and hygiene
