Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking a Support Worker for Cygnet Manor in the UK to support men with learning disabilities and associated complex needs, including behaviours that may challenge.

You will work a 42-hour week, with a mix of day and night shifts, delivering physical and emotional support, safeguarding residents and maintaining a safe, clean environment while promoting independence and well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience in care for people with learning disabilities is desirable.
• Ability to provide physical and emotional support with sensitivity.

Responsibilities

• Work 42 hours per week at Cygnet Manor, providing high dependency care for men with learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Work a mixture of days and nights.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals' specific needs and help in the most appropriate way.

We are looking for a Support Workers to join our team at the Cygnet Manor.

Cygnet Manor is a high dependency complex care service for men with learning disabilities, associated complex needs and who may have behaviours that challenge.

Your Day-to-Day

You’ll be working 42 hours a week in Manor with high dependency complex care service for men with learning disabilities, associated complex needs and who may have behaviours that challenge.

You will be required to work a mixture of days and nights.

£13.15 per hour

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients & residents
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals' specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required \
• Safeguard
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for all
