Lakeside View Nursing Home in Southport is seeking Healthcare Assistants for days and nights. We are a 48-bed, agency-free home rated GOOD by CQC and PAMMS, with a warm, supportive team that treats staff like family. Join a role focused on compassionate care and resident dignity.

You'll support residents with personal care, meals, and companionship, with training provided. A driving licence helps but is not required. Competitive hourly pay reflects the importance of our work and community spirit.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma of Higher Education (preferred).
• Experience: Care home experience preferred; not required but helpful.
• Language/region: United Kingdom context.

The Role – What You'll Be Doing

You’ll be doing the heart‑warming, rewarding work that makes a real difference every single day:

• Helping residents with personal care (making sure dignity is front and centre)
• Assisting with meals (and celebrating when someone enjoys every bite!)
• Keeping care plans accurate and up to date
• Offering companionship, comfort, reassurance & lots of smiles
• Observing and reporting any changes in residents’ needs
• Light medication support (with training)
• Escorting to appointments or fun activities
• Following health & safety and infection control (obviously – we’re GOOD for a reason!)
• Communicating brilliantly with residents, families, and your teammates

What You’ll Bring
