Job summary

Oakland Care Ltd in Loughton is seeking a committed Senior Care Assistant - Nights to support residents with compassionate, person-centred care. You will lead a small team, monitor daily living activities, and ensure dignity and wellbeing during night rounds.

The role requires at least 2 years’ care experience, a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification, and training in medication administration. You’ll work 42 hours per week on nights, with uniform provided and benefit-rich rewards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in delivering care or as a Senior Care Assistant.
• Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or willing to sign up/working towards it).
• Trained in medication administration.
• Excellent people and customer service skills.
• Ability to induct, supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Time management skills to delegate tasks within a team.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written, including care plans, and digital skills.
