Job summary

Oakland Care is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our award-winning care home in Woodlands Grove, Loughton. You will lead a team, deliver compassionate, person-centred care, and help residents with daily living tasks, meals, and medications.

The role is 42 hours per week, with night shifts and permanent contract. We offer rewards including a free meal per shift, uniform provided, enhanced Bank Holiday pay, and a Cycle to Work scheme.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience delivering care or as a Senior Care Assistant.
• Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification or actively training towards it.
• Trained in medication administration.
• Excellent people and customer service skills.
• Ability to induct, supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Strong time management and digital literacy.
