Job summary

Field Lane is a charity providing care and support in Reigate, Surrey. The Senior Care and Support Worker role supports adults with learning disabilities in their homes or with family within the local community.

You will work with a dedicated team to deliver person-centred care, assist with daily living tasks, and maintain records while upholding safeguarding and safety policies. Training and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Care (or willingness to complete).
• Ideally, 2+ years’ experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
• A caring, empathetic, and non-judgemental attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to remain calm, cheerful, and professional in challenging situations.
• Commitment to high standards and person-centred support.
• Full Driving Licence and use of own vehicle.

We’re looking for a Senior Care and Support Worker to join our community-based service in Reigate, Surrey. We support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live independently within their own homes or with family.

Our support workers spend meaningful time with the people they support, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and valued. Building strong, trusting relationships is at the heart of what we do, as the connection between a client and their support worker is key to achieving positive outcomes.
