Job summary

Field Lane is seeking a Senior Care and Support Worker to join our supported living project in Merstham, Surrey. You will work with adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, delivering person-centred care and supporting daily living activities.

The role requires a caring, empathetic approach, good communication and teamwork, and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations. A satisfactory enhanced DBS and background checks are required, and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Care (or willingness to complete).
  • 2+ years’ experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
  • Caring, empathetic and non-judgemental attitude.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, cheerful and professional in challenging situations.
  • Commitment to high standards and person-centred support.

About The Role

We’re looking for Senior Care and Support Workers to join our supported living project, in Mertstham, Surrey which provides accommodation and care for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. This role is to work specifically with with one of our clients with complex needs and it is a rewarding opportunity to support them.


As a Senior Care and Support Worker, you’ll:


  • Work alongside a dedicated team to provide person-centred care and support.

  • Deliver personal care in line with individual care plans.

  • Support with daily living tasks, such as mealtimes, laundry, and housekeeping.

  • Promote inclusion, dignity, and independence for every client.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, families, and professionals.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality at all times.

What we’re looking for:
