Job summary

LLOYD'S REGISTER INTERNATIONAL is seeking a Senior Care and Support Worker in Guildford, Surrey to provide person-centered care and support for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

You will work with a dedicated team to deliver personal care, assist with daily living tasks, promote inclusion and communicate with clients, families and professionals while maintaining records and safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Care or willingness to complete it.
• 2+ years’ experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
• Caring, empathetic and non-judgemental attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm, cheerful and professional in challenging situations.
• Commitment to high standards and person-centered support.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered care and support alongside a dedicated team.
• Deliver personal care in line with individual care plans.
• Support daily living tasks (mealtimes, laundry, housekeeping).
• Promote inclusion, dignity and independence for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families and professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and confidentiality at all times.
• Uphold safeguarding, health & safety and organisational policies.
• Take part in training, team meetings and ongoing development.

As a Senior Care and Support Worker, you’ll:
