Job summary

Lloyd's Register International in Frimley, Surrey is seeking a Senior Care and Support Worker to join our supported living project on a part-time basis. You will empower adults with learning disabilities to live independently with dignity and high-quality care.

Join a caring, dedicated team to deliver person-centred care, assist with daily living tasks, maintain accurate records, and uphold safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Care or willingness to complete.
• Experience with adults with learning disabilities preferred; 6 months+.
• Caring, empathetic and non-judgemental attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm, cheerful and professional.
• Commitment to high standards and person-centred support.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care and support.
• Deliver personal care per individual care plans.
• Assist with daily living tasks (meals, laundry, housekeeping).
• Promote inclusion, dignity and independence.
• Communicate with clients, families and professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and confidentiality.

As a Senior Care and Support Worker, you’ll:

• Work alongside a dedicated team to provide person-centred care and support.
• Deliver personal care in line with individual care plans.
• Support with daily living tasks, such as mealtimes, laundry, and housekeeping.
• Promote inclusion, dignity, and independence for every client.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, families, and professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
• Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and organisational policies.
• Take part in training, team meetings, and ongoing development

What we’relooking for:

• NVQ Level 2 in Care (or willingness tocomplete).
• Ideally, at least 6 months’ experiencesupporting adults with learning disabilities.
