Job summary

Field Lane is a charity in Surrey seeking a Female Senior Care and Support Worker to empower adults with learning disabilities to live independently in our supported living projects in Betchworth. This role focuses on person-centred care, dignity, and safeguarding, with DBS checks required.

The post is open to individuals who meet the criteria and values diversity and inclusion. The successful candidate will join a caring, supportive team, receive ongoing training and development opportunities,

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Care or willingness to complete.
  • Ideally 2+ years’ experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
  • Caring, empathetic and non-judgemental attitude.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Calm, cheerful and professional in challenging situations.
  • Commitment to high standards and person-centred support.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside a dedicated team to provide person-centred care and support.
  • Deliver personal care in line with individual care plans.
  • Support with daily living tasks, such as mealtimes, laundry, and housekeeping.
  • Promote inclusion, dignity, and independence for every client.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, families, and professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
  • Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and organisational policies.
  • Take part in training, team meetings, and ongoing development.

We’re looking for a Female Senior Care and Support Worker to join our supported living projects, in Betchworth, Surrey which provides accommodation and care for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. As a Senior Care and Support Worker, you’ll:
  • Work alongside a dedicated team to provide person-centred care and support.
  • Deliver personal care in line with individual care plans.
  • Support with daily living tasks, such as mealtimes, laundry, and housekeeping.
  • Promote inclusion, dignity, and independence for every client.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, families, and professionals.

What we’re looking for:
