Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative is seeking a Male Support Worker in Prestatyn, Denbighshire. Part-time hours with weekends and sleep-ins, permanent contract. Salary £13.59 per hour; sleep-ins £60 per night; travel expenses 55p per mile.

No experience required as full training is provided. You will support individuals in making choices and help with daily living, finances, and social activities. This role offers a rewarding, person-centred environment where you empower people to live fulfilled lives

Role: Male Support Worker

As a Male Support Worker in Prestatyn, Denbighshireyou’ll help make the everyday remarkable for the people we support.

We are dedicated to supporting those with learning disabilitiesto live a fulfilled and enriched life in the community, as a Support Worker, you can play a vital role in this.

Location: Prestatyn, Denbighshire

Hours: We have part time hours available, please speak to us about the hours you are looking to do. Your shift pattern will include weekends and sleep-ins.

Salary: £13.59per hour and our sleep-in shifts at £60 per night and our travel expenses is paid 55p per mile

Contract: Permanent

What you’ll be doing:

In this role, you’ll actively support individuals in making their own choices and set their own goals — whether it’s everyday decisions like what to wear, eat, or do, or something bigger such as where to live, how to manage their finances, or where to go on holiday.

As a trusted Support Worker, you'll empower people to follow through on these choices, including taking part in structured activities that build confidence and develop new skills. You’ll also offer practical support to help them meet responsibilities like paying bills, maintaining their homes, being good neighbours, and staying connected with friends and family.

Your goal is to make everyday remarkablethrough enhancing well-being and focusing on the small, meaningful moments that bring joy and purpose. By offering this kind of person-centred support every day, this truly is a fun and rewarding role for the right person.
