Teaching Assistant - Peterborough

Monarch Education is an Education Recruitment Agency specializing in placing Teachers and Teaching Assistants in their ideal roles. We are currently working with Primary Schools in the Peterborough area to find a Secondary Teaching Assistant to support in a Secondary Special Educational Needs School.

The candidate will help build pupils' confidence, enhance self-esteem, and promote their academic, social, and emotional welfare.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications and Skills

• Motivating and encouraging pupils
• Using praise, commentary, and assistance to keep pupils focused
• Liaising with the class teacher
• Providing additional nurture to individuals as requested by the class teacher or Inclusion Manager
• Clearing away materials and equipment after lessons

Salary and Hours

Salary: £90-£110 per day

Hours: Monday to Friday

Accessibility

Easily accessible by public transport or onsite parking.

Requirements

Your application will require an enhanced DBS check and two references. Previous experience working in an education setting is essential.
