Teaching Assistant - Peterborough

Monarch Education are an Education Recruitment Agency who specialise in placing Teachers and Teaching Assistants in their ideal roles. Monarch Education are currently working alongside Primary Schools in the Peterborough area to find a Secondary Teaching Assistant to support in a Secondary Special Educational Needs School.

The candidate for this role will build the pupils' confidence and enhance self-esteem and actively seek to promote the academic, social and emotional welfare of pupils.

The ideal candidate for this role will hold / be confident in the following:

• Motivating and encouraging pupils.
• Using praise, commentary and assistance to encourage the pupil to concentrate and stay on task.
• Liaising with class teacher
• Providing additional nurture to individuals when requested by the class teacher or Inclusion Manager.
• Clearing away materials and equipment after lessons.
  
  

Salary: £90-£110 per day

Hours of work: Monday to Friday

Accessibility: Easily accessible on Public Transport / Onsite Parking

Your application will be subject to an enhanced DBS and two references, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working an Education Setting.
