Job summary

Mirus Wales is looking for a dedicated Support Worker to assist people with learning disabilities and other needs, helping them enjoy daily activities and build independence in their community.

You will work closely with service users, families and professionals to support choices, routines, and wellbeing, in a caring and collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• QCF Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification funded if not already achieved.
• Support workers collaborate with social workers, nurses, and therapists to provide best support.

What You'll Do

As a Support Worker, you will:

• Support people to do the things they enjoy, try new experiences, and live good lives.
• Assist with household tasks, shopping, meal preparation, personal care, and maintaining routines.
• Encourage and support people to strengthen relationships with family, friends, and their community.
• Work alongside professionals such as social workers, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure people receive the best support.
• Listen to the people you support and support them to make choices about their lives.
