Voyage Care in Midsomer Norton is seeking a caring Support Worker to help people gain more independence in daily life. You will work as part of a dynamic team, delivering person-centered support across daytime and night shifts.
No two days are the same, with activities from visiting local venues to cooking and personal care, and the role requires a full UK driving licence and being over 21 due to insurance.

Our supported living service in Midsomer Norton is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support visiting the zoo or swimming in the local community pool, the next you could be unwinding with them teaching them to cook, watching films or going to the cinema.
This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
We're interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach
