Job summary

The Avenues Group is hiring a Support Worker in Margate to support adults with autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and communication challenges. You will help with daily living, social engagement and personal care, promoting independence and well-being.

Training is provided at no cost, including Health and Social Care Diplomas. We offer flexible shifts, DBS, and career progression opportunities within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• Full UK driving license essential and flexible for all shifts (AM, PM, nights and sleep-ins).
• Award-winning training provided at no cost, including Health and Social Care Diplomas.
• Support workers to help adults with autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and communication challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support people to live independently and enjoy daily activities.
• Encourage social connections with family, friends and the local community.

The Role

We are looking for passionate and caring Support Workers to join our teams in Margate, supporting adults with:

• Autism
• Learning disabilities
• Physical disabilities
• Communication difficulties
• Behaviours that challenge
• Epilepsy

Our services include supported living homes, self-contained flats, and community-based outreach. During your telephone interview, our Recruitment Team will discuss which opportunities best suit your skills and preferences.
