Job summary

The Avenues Group is hiring a dedicated Support Worker for our 12-bed residential service in Chertsey. You’ll support adults with complex needs, including autism and learning disabilities, in a person-centred way.

Role involves assisting with daily living, personal care, and community activities, with manual handling and driving licence preferred. Full-time 39 hours a week, pro rata salary £25,845, and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Having a full UK manual driving licence would be great for this role, as it really helps with getting out and about with the people we support
• We're on the lookout for passionate and caring Support Workers with some experience to join our brilliant team at our 12-bed residential service in Chertsey.
• Right now, we've got 4 men and 8 women living with us, mostly needing 2 to 1 support, with some requiring 3 to 1.

We're on the lookout for passionate and caring Support Workers with some experience to join our brilliant team at our 12-bed residential service in Chertsey. Right now, we've got 4 men and 8 women living with us, mostly needing 2 to 1 support, with some requiring 3 to 1. It's fair to say the support needs are pretty high here - there's manual handling involved, wheelchair users, and personal care support.

Person Centred Active Support is at the heart of everything we do, and we're looking for like-minded support workers to join us in supporting young adults with:
