Job summary

Transforming Support is seeking experienced Support Workers to join TS Liverpool's service at Laystall Street in Manchester. You will provide person-centred support that helps people build confidence, develop everyday living skills and have greater choice and control over their lives.

This is a full-time, permanent role with training, a funded enhanced DBS check, and a discretionary £1,000 annual bonus. The position operates on a rolling two-week rota, supporting independence and community

Qualifications

• At least six months' experience in a care or support setting.
• Able to work full time on a rolling rota.
• Must be able to travel to Laystall Street, Manchester, M1 for shifts.
• Right to work in the UK for full contracted hours without sponsorship.
• No visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Support everyday living skills and household responsibilities.
• Help people make choices about routines, activities and personal goals.
• Support access to the community, appointments and social activities.
• Provide support with health needs and medication per agreed procedures and training.
• Follow individual support plans and contribute to reviews and risk management.
• Maintain accurate records and work with families and other professionals to provide consistent support.

• Have at least six months' previous experience in a care or support setting.
• Be available to work full time on the service's rolling rota.

About you

You will be compassionate, patient and dependable, with a calm and respectful approach when needs or circumstances change.

You must understand the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality, follow agreed support plans and work positively both independently and as part of a team.

Previous experience in supported living, learning disabilities or complex needs would be particularly useful.
