Job summary

CCH Group in Detling near Maidstone is seeking a compassionate care assistant to join our growing team. You will provide PEG feeds, catheter care, medication administration, and monitor seizures, with 2:1 day and night shifts (8 am–8 pm / 8 pm–8 am) and 2-3 shifts per week.

A full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle is essential due to the location. We offer free DBS check, full training and paid induction, and clear opportunities for career progression within a people-first

Pay Rate: £13.75 - £14.75 per hour

Shifts Available: 2:1 Days & Nights (8 am - 8 pm | 8 pm- 8 am) 2-3 Shifts Per Week

Job Description

What you'll do

• PEG feeds (PEJ)
• Intermittent Catheter Care
• Medication Administration
• Monitoring the client's condition for seizures.
• Using moving & handling equipment.

Also please be aware that the client does have two dogs in the home and loves anyone who has a bubbly personality, keen to wear bright clothing and is a very clear communicator.

Qualifications

What you’ll need

Experience in the following would be extremely advantageous for your application:

• Intermittent catheter care.
• Suctioning machines.
• PEJs
• Seizure management and anti-seizure medication, rescue packs etc.

The only essential requirements is as follows:

• Clear Communication Skills.
• A full valid UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle, due to the location and transport links.
