Job summary

CCH Group is seeking a dedicated care professional for a complex care client in Detling, near Maidstone. You will provide PEG feeds, catheter care, and medication administration while monitoring for seizures and safely using moving & handling equipment.

Full training and DBS clearance are provided. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential due to the client’s location and transport links. Roles involve 2:1 day and night shifts and require a bubbly, clear communicator.

Location: Detling

Pay Rate: £13.75 - £14.75 per hour

Shifts Available: 2:1 Days & Nights (8 am - 8 pm | 8 pm- 8 am) 2-3 Shifts Per Week

Access to a vehicle is required due to the geographical location of the role

Job Description

What you'll do

The client is a young adult who has an acquired brain injury and is non-verbal, and due to this, the client would require several complex needs that need to be met, such as:

• PEG feeds (PEJ)
• Intermittent Catheter Care
• Medication Administration
• Monitoring the client's condition for seizures.
• Using moving & handling equipment.

Also please be aware that the client does have two dogs in the home and loves anyone who has a bubbly personality, keen to wear bright clothing and is a very clear communicator.

Qualifications

What you'll need

Experience in the following would be extremely advantageous for your application:

• Intermittent catheter care.
• Suctioning machines.
• PEJs
• Seizure management and anti-seizure medication, rescue packs etc.

The only essential requirements is as follows:

• Clear Communication Skills.

• A full valid UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle, due to the location and transport links.
