Job summary

Branas Isaf Children’s Service, part of the CareTech Family in Wales, is seeking a senior residential team leader to guide our care team and support young people with complex needs. This role includes on-call responsibilities and safeguarding oversight within a disability-confident organisation.

£40,280 per year (base £33,800) with sleep-in allowances; full-time permanent post. Includes a structured rota, 4-week induction, and extensive development opportunities within CareTech.

Qualifications

• 1-year experience in residential childcare plus Level 3 Children & Young People Award or equivalent is essential.
• Experience of working within and leading a team.
• Able to work unsociable hours (evenings, nights and weekends).
• Willing and able to be part of management on call system.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support residential staff to help children toward a brighter future.
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare of children.
• Cover on-call shifts as part of the management system.

£40,280 per year (includes base salary + estimated sleep-in allowances) Base Salary: £33,800 ( Hourly rate : £16.25 ) Plus £67.50 per sleep-in. Based on an average of 8 sleep-ins per month, you will top up your earnings by £6480 annually. Full-Time permanent role.
