Job summary

Branas Isaf Children’s Services, part of the CareTech family, seeks a Residential Team Leader / Senior Support Worker to lead a team in Corwen, Denbighshire. The role includes supervising shifts, mentoring staff and ensuring the highest standards of care for children and young people with emotional and behavioral needs.

You will work a consolidated rota with sleep-ins and a base salary of £33,800 plus sleep-in allowances, with total package around £40,280 per year.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ experience in a Children’s residential care setting.
• QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People (or equivalent).
• Experience leading or supporting a staff team.
• Full UK manual driving licence (with company car during work hours).

Responsibilities

• Promote a person-centred, therapeutic approach.
• Support young people to build relationships and reach potential.
• Collaborate with education, therapy and management teams.

Residential Team Leader / Senior Support Worker – Children’s Residential Care

Location: Corwen, Denbighshire - Full UK manual driving licence required

£40,280 per year (includes base salary + estimated sleep-in allowances)

Base Salary: £33,800 ( Hourly rate : £16.25 )
Plus £67.50 per sleep-in. Based on an average of 8 sleep-ins per month, you will top up your earnings by £6480 annually.

Full-Time permanent role. Consolidated shifts - great work/life balance | 3 month rota planned in advance | Sleep-ins included ( 6-10 a month)

• Ability to work evenings, nights and weekends
• Willingness to join the management On-Call system
• New staff must be comfortable using an electronic care recording system on a daily basis to document, monitor, and update children and young people’s records accurately.
