Job summary

Branas Isaf is seeking a Residential Senior Support Worker to lead a team in our children's residential care setting in Corwen. The role focuses on guiding young people toward a brighter future, supporting relationships and personal development, and promoting a safe, therapeutic environment.

This full-time position requires driving, willingness to work evenings/nights/weekends, and a readiness to be on-call for management. A strong sense of empowerment and person-centred care is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-year experience in residential childcare plus Level 3 Children & Young People Award or equivalent is essential
• Experience of working within and leading a team
• Driver (company provide a car during working hours)
• Able to work unsociable hours (evenings, nights and weekends)
• Willing and able to be part of management on call system.

Job description

Residential Senior Support Worker – Children’s Residential Care

Location: Corwen - Full UK manual driving licence required

£40,280 per year (includes base salary + estimated sleep-in allowances)

Base Salary: £33,800 ( Hourly rate : £16.25 )
Plus £67.50 per sleep-in. Based on an average of 8 sleep-ins per month, you will top up your earnings by £6480 annually.

Full-Time permanent role. Consolidated shifts - great work/life balance | 3 month rota planned in advance | Sleep-ins included ( 6-10 a month)
