Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD is recruiting care support staff in Leicester. We welcome applicants with experience in elderly care, dementia, care homes, supported living, and mental health support.

The role involves personal care, moving and handling, and providing daily support to residents. Flexible part-time to full-time shifts available, with last-minute daily shifts and weekly availability required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a UK care or support role.
• Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs or learning disabilities.
• Confidence in delivering personal care.
• Ability to provide 3 years of work references.
• Overseas Police Check if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting adults as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
• Providing personal care and emotional support.
• Maintaining accurate care plans and reporting safeguarding concerns.
• Promoting independence and dignity at all times.
• Supporting residents with day-to-day activities.

We're currently seeking reliable, flexible, and committed support staff to join our team in Leicester.

You must be comfortable working with:

• Elderly
• Dementia
• Care Homes
• Supported Living
• Mental Health

We need candidates who are:

• Able to use hoists, comfortable with personal care, moving and handling
• Flexible with short notice and last-minute shift requests
• Comfortable providing weekly availability and responding quickly when needed

Shift Options Available:

• Regular part-time to full-time shifts
• Flexibility to choose what suits you
• Daily last-minute shifts available

To be considered, you must have:

• A minimum of 6 months experience in a UK care or support role
• Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs or learning disabilities
• Confidence in delivering personal care
• Ability to provide 3 years of work references and an overseas police check (if applicable)
• Overseas Police Check (if you live in the UK for less than 5 years)
